NDC Cries Foul Over Chilubi Expulsion

The opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, has cried foul over the alleged premature expulsion from Chilubi Island where a by-election will be taking place on Thursday.

Dr Chishimba Kambwili was asked to leave after addressing a small rally.

His party official are crying foul.

The NDC writes, “Where is the Electoral Commission of Zambia the body that is mandated to govern elections in this country, police are not custodians of an election but to keep law and order. The NDC leader Chishimba Kambwili was hounded out of Chilubi like a common criminal yesterday. Where is our Democracy?”
