ECZ Gets New Boss

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has announced its new boss as Kryticous Patrick Nshindano.

Nshindano is a former civil society advocate taking over from Chomba Chellah.

He becomes the fourth CEO of the commission in the last 10 years. Since the departure of Danny Kalele, ECZ has now changed leaders three times.

Priscilla Isaacs replaced Kalale. Thereafter Chomba Chellah took over and now Nshindano.

ELECTORAL COMMISION BOARD APPOINTS NSHINDANO AS NEW CHIEF ELECTORAL OFFICER

Lusaka- Tuesday 13th Augist 2019

The Electoral Commission of Zambia(ECZ) has appointed Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) Executive Director, Kryticous Patrick Nshindano as new Chief Executive Officer and Chief Electoral Officer of the Commission.

He replaces Mr. Chomba Chella who resigned last month.

ECZ Public Relations Manager Margaret Chimanse announced in a press statement released this evening.

Mr. Nshindano holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Zambia and a Master’s Degree from Copperbelt University.

And ECZ Chairperson Justice Essau Chulu congratulated Mr. Nshindano and pledged support as he takes up the new appointment.
