The Meteorological department says Zambia is not in the danger zone of being hit by the tropical cyclone that is currently sweeping through Mozambique and Malawi.
Zambia Meteorological Department Assistant Director Emmanuel Sikana says the tropical Idai that is stronger in Mozambique and moving inland Zimbabwe will only affect Zambia with Westerly winds and normal rainfall mostly in the northern and eastern parts of Zambia
