The Zambia Under-23 Men’s Football National Team warmed for the Egypt 2019 Olympic tournament qualifier with a 4-1 win over ABC Motsepe League outfit Dube Continental FC.

A brace from Circuit City forward Biston Banda and a goal apiece from Lameck Banda and Prince Mumba gave the Zambian side a morale boosting result.
The match was played at the Nike Sports Centre in Soweto.

Zambia is in South Africa on a seven-day camp ahead of the back-to-back clash with Malawi on March 20 in Blantyre and the return leg at National Heroes Stadium five days later.

Winner over two legs will play either Burundi or Congo Brazzaville in the final qualifying round.
Eight teams from across the continent will qualify for the November tournament in Egypt with the top three making it to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The Under-23 has been having weekly camps for six weeks and have now camped in South Africa on the final stretch of preparations.

Coach Beston Chambeshi has drafted outstanding players from the 2017 Under-20 Africa Cup winning side in his current under-23 team.
